We show that for a pair of rotating atoms under pure vacuum noise with appropriate orbital radius and angular velocity, non local entanglement as compared to local coherence is not only more resilient against vacuum noise to be preserved in the steady-state for initially entangled states, but more importantly is also predestined to be created and be preserved for initially separable states. The asymptotic entanglement as are sult of centripetal acceleration is thus initial-state independent and can be viewed as a manifestation of the Unruh effect. Based on this phenomenon, we propose an optomechanical setup to detect the Unruh effect with thestate-of-the-art technologies.

余洪伟,美国Tufts大学博士,湖南师范大学教授,博士生导师。教育部长江学者创新团队带头人,连续入选美国斯坦福大学发布的全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单。先后主持国家自然科学基金重大项目课题、重点和面上项目等国家级科研项目的研究。2008年获得湖南省科技进步一等奖(排名第一),2018年获湖南省自然科学一等奖(排名第一)。指导学生先后获得全国百篇优秀博士学位论文一次,提名论文一次以及湖南省优秀博士学位论文五次。
