报告摘要:
There are two parts in the talk. In the first part we give some background and basic method and theory about functional differential equation, then for a large class of non-monotone time delayed differential equations, a set of sufficient conditions for the global stability of the positive equilibrium is established by the method of fluctuations and the exponential ordering approach. These analytic results areapplied to a mathematical model of white blood cell production.The second part is about the disease transmission models and their dynamical analysis.

报告人简介:
袁沅,纽芬兰纪念大学数学与统计系教授;本科毕业于武汉大学,后于中南大学、西安大略大学获得硕士和博士学位,之后在滑铁卢大学从事博士后研究;主要研究领域为数学生物学、数学生态学、非线性动力系统、时滞微分方程等;先后发表高水平学术论文50余篇,并兼任多个国际期刊编委、特邀编辑等;现为武汉大学、中南大学、山西大学等国内多家知名高校的兼职教授,山西省“百人计划”专家。
