报告摘要：

In this talk, we study the applications of the monotone iteration method for investigating the existence and stability of solutions to nonlocal reaction-diffusion equations with time delay. We emphasize the importance of the idea of monotone iteration schemes for investigating the stability of solutions to such equations. We show that every steady state of such equations obtained by using the monotone iteration method is priori stable and all stable steady states can be obtained by using such method. Finally, we apply our main results to three population models.

报告人简介：

郭志明，广州大学数学与信息科学学院教授、博士生导师, 第十一届广东省人大代表。主要研究哈密顿系统周期解及生物数学模型的理论与应用研究。2001年博士毕业于中山大学；2009年在加拿大西安大略大学访问一年。在Journal of Differential Equations，Journal of London Mathematical Society，Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations，中国科学等刊物上发表SCI论文40余篇。主持国家自然科学基金项目4项及广东省自然科学基金与湖南省自然科学基金项目多项，并参加国家自然科学基金重点项目研究。
